Nine Pocket is run by [YOUR NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] ("we"). This page explains what we collect when you use Nine Pocket, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a password, which is stored in encrypted form by our sign-in provider.
- Your collection: the cards, sets and player lists you create, including details like player, year, set, card number, condition, prices you enter, notes and where you store cards.
- Card photos: the front and back photos you add.
- Usage counts: how many card scans, checklist lookups and price checks you use each month, so we can apply free-use limits.
How we use it
- To run the app: save your collection, show it on your devices, and track set and player progress.
- To read cards: when you tap "Read card from photos," your photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude to identify the card.
- To look up checklists and prices: set names, player names and card details you look up are sent to Anthropic's Claude (which searches the web) and to our price data provider.
- To improve the shared checklist library: checklists and player card lists that anyone looks up are saved and shared with all users. These lists contain card information only, never your account or collection details.
We don't sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Who helps us run Nine Pocket
- Supabase: stores your account, collection and photos.
- Vercel: hosts the app.
- Anthropic: reads card photos and looks up checklists.
- [SportsCardsPro and/or PriceCharting]: provides market prices.
Each handles your data under its own terms and only to provide its service to us.
Photos
Card photos are stored with random file names and load by link. Anyone who had a photo's exact link could view that photo, so avoid photographing anything other than the card.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete any card, set or player at any time.
- You can export your collection as a CSV file from the Collection screen.
- You can delete your account from Account → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, collection and photos.
Children
Nine Pocket isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. [Check the age requirements that apply where you operate.]
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
